Contemporary hand stitched wall hangings - MAY 3 / 10 / 17 / 24 - 2024

A 4 week course exploring wall hangings. We will explore gathering inspiration for your hanging, planning and intuitive ways of making. Construction and different variations how to display / present your hanging.
During the course you will complete a range of exercises that are aimed to help you clarify your own ides and strengthen your own creative voice.
We will explore in detail:
Applique and reverse applique,
Maximalist stitching and slow stitch,
Embroidery.

Places are limited to 8-10 participants maximum
A set of slides will be sent with the link the day before class each week
