4 week Quilt Fusion course JUNE 7/ 14 / 21 / 28 2024 OCTOBER 4/11/18/25

In this four week online course we are going to make a quilt from blocks that are then joined together to complete a journal quilt.
Journal quilts tell stories, in a similar way to written journals. They can be stitched, pieced, appliqued. They can be figurative or abstract. We will look at all these aspects, allowing the freedom for you to create your own style of quilt.
A quilt is a story, your story, Find yourself in the cloth.
It is a connection to your culture, your heritage, your values, your hopes, dreams, your passions.
A quilt is an intrinsic part of you, a part that will connect you to to whoever sees, holds or touches the quilt.
It may well outlive you, it will then live on, connecting you to others for many years to come.
It is a true form of self expression….and that is why it is so important to find your own visual voice, your own way in stitching and making.
